What Information We Collect
Information is collected in two ways: submitted directly through the contact form, and collected automatically by Google Analytics.
Contact form. The form collects your name, your email address if provided, your phone number if provided, your message, how you heard about Ravenwood Reiki, and whether you have opted in to receive newsletter updates.
Google Analytics. Analytics collects usage data including pages visited, time spent on the site, general geographic location at the city or region level, device and browser type, and how visitors arrived at the site. This data does not directly identify you to Ravenwood Reiki. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, message contents, and payment information are not sent to Google Analytics.
How We Use Information
Contact form information is used to respond to inquiries, communicate about services and events, manage bookings, send newsletter updates to those who have opted in, maintain business records, and meet legal and accounting obligations. Analytics data is used to understand site performance, popular pages, referral sources, and how visitors navigate the site.
Newsletter updates are currently managed directly by Ravenwood Reiki. If an email newsletter provider is used in the future, your email address may be processed by that provider for the purpose of sending the updates you requested. To be removed from newsletter updates, email RavenwoodReiki@gmail.com.
Service Providers
Information may be shared with service providers that support the website and business operations: Netlify for website hosting and contact form handling, Google Analytics for website analytics, Square and Venmo for payment processing, and professional advisors where required. Each provider processes information under its own privacy policy. Ravenwood Reiki does not sell personal information.
Information may also be transferred in connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of business assets.
Contact form submissions are stored by Netlify on encrypted servers. Netlify’s privacy policy is available at netlify.com/privacy. Analytics data is processed by Google, whose privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Event payments made by card or Apple Pay are processed by Square. Venmo payments are processed by Venmo. Each processes payment information under its own privacy policy and terms, which apply when you make a payment. Ravenwood Reiki does not receive or store card numbers or banking information.
How Long We Keep Your Information
Contact form submissions, event inquiries, newsletter requests, and related communications are retained as long as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, manage bookings and events, provide services, maintain business records, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. To request deletion, contact Ravenwood Reiki. Requests are honored except where information must be retained for legal, tax, or recordkeeping reasons.
Security
Reasonable measures and established service providers are used to protect information. No website, email system, payment system, or internet transmission is completely secure.
Cookies, Do Not Track, and Third-Party Tracking
This site uses Google Analytics cookies to distinguish unique visitors and measure site activity over time. These are analytics cookies. Advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, and social media advertising trackers are not used. Google Analytics may collect information about your activity on this site over time. Some browsers offer Do Not Track or similar privacy signals; this site does not respond to those signals. If the cookie notice is dismissed, that preference may be stored in your browser’s local storage so the notice does not reappear.
Sensitive Information
Do not submit emergency, medical, or highly sensitive personal information through the contact form. Ravenwood Reiki is not a medical provider, and the contact form is not intended for urgent, medical, or confidential healthcare communications. Personal wellness information you choose to share is used only to respond to your inquiry or provide services you request.
Your California Privacy Requests
Ravenwood Reiki may not be subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act based on its current size and data practices. California visitors may contact Ravenwood Reiki to ask what personal information is held, request correction, request deletion, or ask how information is used. Children’s Privacy
This website is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and personal information from children is not knowingly collected.
Changes to This Policy
Updates to this policy are posted on this page with a revised effective date.
